Description:

The amount of time required to solve the large scale problems arising from numerical partial differential equations is a major concern in using mathematical models based on partial differential equations. Various fast solution techniques, such as adaptive methods, domain decomposition methods and multilevel methods, have been developed to address this issue. This workshop will survey new developments and challenges in these and other fast solution techniques.
