Research Communities

The IMA is engaged in nurturing fields of research and supporting communities in such areas as Mathematics in Life Sciences and Medicine, Multimedia, Materials Science, Management and Control of Uncertainty, Coding Theory, Optical Devices, and Mathematics in Industry. One way we support these communities, even during those times when there is no program being held at the IMA, is through this Research Communities Website. Here, you can register to be part of a research community, find out about news in your area (such as upcoming meetings at the IMA or elsewhere), access resource materials (talks, bibliography, etc.), post messages and take part in moderated discussions.
