Many Looks on the Lucas/Fibonacci Sequences and Polynomials

Lucas/Fibonacci polynomials, defined recursively, have been around for a long while. Recent years have shown a continued interest by several mathematicians. In this talk, we present current research touching new features (revealing curious interconnections) of Lucas polynomials/sequences as combinatorial objects, number-theoretic entities, as well as their (novel) structural decomposition. This is joint work with subsets of M Can, X Chen, M Jensen, V Moll, B Sagan.
